Lindsay and Justin’s Lazy Z Resort wedding fell at the perfect time as it missed a heat wave and a threat of rain. At their engagement session up at Pinecrest Lake, it was clear that these two love the mountains and hiking. Their wedding reflected that not only in the mountain resort location, but the table decorations and seating assignments. Justin made a giant carved trail sign by hand, assigning a different hiking trail to each table and listing each guest. Then each table had framed photos of the couple on the corresponding hike. Some bouquets of bright flowers provided by Country Shelf added the perfect finishing touch for a late summer wedding. The ceremony was held on the lawn under a floral arch. While the bridal party had photos taken, the guests moved over by the pool for cocktails and then down below for dinner catered by Hook and Barrel BBQ. After toasts and cake, the dance floor next to the pool was opened, and guests finished out the night showing off their moves to the tunes provided by DJ Dan Utica. One of the great things about the Lazy Z Resort is the little cabins available on site for guests to retire to at the end of the evening. It was the perfect mountain wedding for this adventurous couple!
