Sonora Senior Portrait Photographer | Bloomingcamp Ranch Blossom Session | Christine Dibble Photography
I had been working on some parts of a “dress” to use for various sessions, and I had the perfect model to help me test them out. Julian happens to be my son’s girlfriend, and she volunteered to model for me some time, something Colby was excited about because it took the camera away from him! I had a location up the hill in mind until I drove down into Oakdale and saw that all the trees were in bloom. Julian happened to be free the next day, so we jumped on the opportunity. Madeline (seen here in her eighth grade graduation shoot) did hair and make-up for us. I just told her the feel I wanted, and left her to do her own thing. I think she and I are on the same wavelength because she did an amazing job and it was just what I saw in my head! Hopefully Romantic gave us some sashes to go with the dress too. Julian and I started in the orchard at Bloomingcamp Ranch where the trees were completely in bloom. Then we moved on to Knights Ferry on our way home. The light and the colors of the greenery at Knights Ferry may very well have out-shined the blossoms! At the end of the day, I had figured out the workings of the “dress,” we had gotten some beautiful portraits, and I learned that Colby better never lose this girl! She is as sweet as she looks!
