Years ago, Tessa used to live in my neighborhood, and she used to walk the loop with her baby boy in a stroller. We got to know each other at MOPS, and I watched her family grow. She moved to a new neighborhood, and we were in separate directions until her oldest started at the same high school as my kids. When she contacted me about family portraits, she was a little nervous because they had never had any taken before! She was also unsure of how things would work because one of her boys is autistic. I told her that I am very patient, and my shooting style is actually pretty perfect for those who do not or cannot pose for the camera. We wandered around an area in Twain Harte and just let everyone do what they do, and the results were perfect portraits of this perfect family just being themselves!
