What is the best thing about being a newborn photographer? I get to handle these precious little people who are just days old, touch those little downy heads and snuggle them, and then hand them back to mom when they really start to fuss and know that I will get a good night’s sleep. I do miss snuggling my babies, but I am pretty happy that we all sleep through the night now! This little lady was a real cuddler. She was much happier in a tight wrap than in any other pose. She was just about three weeks old, but since she arrived two weeks early, she was still at a great age to curl up tightly into those womb poses. Those little eyes opened for a brief moment, and then they were shut tightly again. But that was fine with me, because I like those sleepy newborn shots!
