I bought some new lights a few months ago.  I love natural light first and foremost.  Nothing can really compare to that golden hour and the beautiful glow.  But I also wanted to be more versatile in where I could shoot, and I was really excited to do some dramatically lit outdoor shots after dark or at sunset.  Since our lives have revolved around sports lately, I figured I had to incorporate that into some light experimentation.  Colby and Brennen are both on their grade level basketball teams at school, and when Colby had a teammate spend the night, I took all three and their uniforms to a court after dark.  They were perfect models, patient in the cold,  and they even managed to not knock over the light with the ball!  And one day when they are famous athletes, they will have these to show where they started.
