Sonora Senior Portrait Photographer | Summerville High School Prom | Christine Dibble Photography

The Summerville High School Prom took place a couple of weeks ago on a gloomy, rainy day. Lucky for us, the rain stopped just in time for some pre-prom portraits in a gorgeous green field in Sonora. The couples rolled in before their dinner reservation times. I loved seeing all the dresses, but my favorite part was seeing my own son in a tuxedo for the first time. It took a lot to get him to agree to wear it, but I think he secretly liked it. And he was definitely man enough to wear pink!

I’m so used to seeing those snapshots from the parents and these are so, so much nicer to have. (And surely so much less embarrassing for the kids!) haha!

Your son is so lucky that you’re a fantastic Sonora Senior Portrait Photographer and can document these special moments gorgeously. The photo my Dad took of me and my prom date, best friend and her prom date are straight up embarrassing…especially compared to these lovely photos! I think my Dad used a 2 megapixel camera at the time back in 2001. Crazy! Your son and his date are cutie pies, too. Congrats to the kids…hope they had a great time!
