Sonora Senior Portraits | Sonora High Homecoming Queen | Christine Dibble Photography

A couple of days before Christmas, I met the Sonora High Homecoming Queen, Isabel, at Indigeny Reserve for her senior portrait session. While she originally wanted a session with some water somewhere, she did agree that it was pretty cold in December for a water photo session. And the day we met was right in the middle of a real cold snap! But that did not stop Isabel from putting on some cute dresses and smiling as if she were not cold at all. It was an overcast day, but the sun did peek out a bit at the end to give us some golden light. While I love using props in sessions, I also loved working with just Isabel for these portraits. That way, she was the one to shine all on her own…and boy, did she! Eric - Cool location! I really like on the muted colors and Earth tones. This really natural style doesn’t seem to be that popular at least around me in Colorado. I think that the current trend of heavy tonning can’t even compare to what you’ve done here. Nice work!
laura - christine, these photos are amazing of this beautiful senior, isabel. she seems very comfortable in her skin, with who she is. i am certain she had some instruction from her photographer on how to act naturally and most of all, to have fun. her choice of clothing is so much fun and it fits exactly with her surroundings at Indigeny Reserve. those shoes are amazing, but don’t ask me to wear them! beautiful work, christine. i am certain isabel agrees with me.
