Sonora Family Photographer | Rainy Day at Indigeny | Christine Dibble Photography

After having no rain in what seems like years here in California, we were quite surprised to find it was a rainy day at Indigeny when this session took place. It may not have rained in the rest of Sonora, but just at start time, the clouds let loose over us. While people in Florida certainly wouldn’t have called it a downpour, we did, because any more than two drops of water falling from the sky in our neck of the woods lately is a huge deal! This was enough rain to see in the photos, but not enough to stop this family portrait session. A couple of years ago, we worked around a camera phobia. This year, there was no stopping the smiles. • Jennifer Rittenberry - You have done it again! Another gorgeous family session <3 You do such a great job capturing the personality of each person you photograph; even in a family setting you have the ability to let each subject shine through with their individuality. It never ceases to amaze me how you always pick the perfect venues, either, and this Sonora spot doesn't fall short!

  • Samantha - Aren’t rainy days the best sometimes though! I just love how the rain can sometimes make a family session even more fun. I am loving the matte finish on this family’s portraits at Indigeny and how you beautifully captured their silliness in addition to smiling for the camera.
