Sonora Family Photographer | Celebration Session | Christine Dibble Photography
When you are a Sonora family photographer, you get to photograph families you have never met and families you know. I have known this family for a few years for a couple of reasons. Mrs. Dunlap has been my son’s science teacher at school (and he adores her and her class!) and Ryan has been running for the running club I run with too. When their daughter, Rachel, graduated college and came home for a visit, they decided to have a family photo session instead of a big party. It is nice to have family portrait sessions every so often to document the different stages of family life, but this one was really special because Rachel is headed off to Europe in a few weeks to play some volleyball and hopefully be picked up for a professional stint on a team over there. We took some traditional family photos, and then at the end we took a few of the kids in their sports uniforms. Rachel’s college in Connecticut actually acknowledges student athletes at graduation by giving them special stoles to wear during the ceremony, so she wore that with her volleyball uniform. Ryan wore his Foothill Gold uniform. A couple of weeks later, he qualified for nationals in the 3000m, and then promptly broke his ankle! I am so glad they took the opportunity to record their visit and accomplishments with a photo session before things got complicated!
Corey - Beautiful family and I love how fun and joyful their portraits are! The sibling photos are perfection, as well as the ones of just Mom and Dad! I love that they included the kids’ activities too. Great session!
Ashley - These family portraits are absolutely stunning. The colors are perfect and the lighting is absolutely gorgeous! I love that they opted for a photo session in lieu of a party, especially with everything going on! Congrats to Rachel on her graduation, and healing thoughts to Ryan as his ankle heals.
Deanna - You always choose the most beautiful locations in Sonora for your family photography shoots. These portraits are stunning! You have really captured the love and connection between this family. Great job!
Nicole - Love this location in Sonora for these family photos! You really captured the essence of this family and the love they have for each other. This family will love these photos for years to come!
Brenden - Wanna hear something funny? I had a chemistry teacher in high school who’s name was Dunlap too! haha This Sonora family session is absolutely perfect! That gorgeous light and beautiful California field! The sibling portraits are really sweet too. You can tell they really get a long. I’m sure this family is going to hang these portraits all over their home 🙂
Jennifer Rittenberry - Another stunning family session from Christine Dibble Photography. Your work never ceases to amaze me and know why all of the Sonora families are coming to you! How could they not? You choose the perfect location every time and the light is always spot on in each image. I love your work!
