My little friend Lucy is a huge Elsa fan. I mean HUGE! So when we heard Elsa was going to be in Sonora a few days before Christmas, we knew we had to set up a private meeting for her biggest fan. Really…this was way better than Santa Claus in Lucy’s opinion! We met Elsa at a private location. The day had started out beautifully bright and sunny, but she brought along the gray skies and snow. After a few lessons, Lucy was just as adept at throwing snow around as her idol. Elsa sat and talked about everything going on in Arendelle and with Anna. Lucy asked lots of questions. Then Elsa brought out a gift for Lucy…a story book about herself called A Sister More Like Me, signed by the author, Barbara Jean Hicks! She sat and read the book to Lucy who snuggled right up next to her to listen. Then Elsa zipped off to a public meet and greet. If you are lucky enough to live in Washington, you have access to Elsa for birthday parties through Crown and Cake. She will show up (or any other Disney princess) with amazing gourmet cupcakes and entertain little princesses with stories and crafts and conversation. But she books up quickly, so get your reservations in!
