Blaine came all the way up from the valley for his senior portraits. This is another session that made me feel really old. See, Blaine is my cousin’s son, and I can remember him as a tiny baby, and then as a shy four year old who wore his Spiderman costume to our family reunion talent night and sang the theme song. And then I see him as an eight year old, still cramming himself into that same tiny Spiderman costume and singing the theme song. But the best was just a couple of years ago when he came out in a leotard and heels and recreated Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” video. He has definitely come out of his shell, and he picked up his parents’ love of practical jokes and adventure. He spent his entire junior year as an exchange student in South America. And now he will be graduating in a few months and out into the world. But if he decides to put on the Spiderman costume again, I do hope he gets an adult size!
