Nikki and Cheyenne started their romance at the age of 12. After life took them in separate directions, and a chance encounter on facebook brought them together again, they officially started their life together in a beautiful ceremony at the Black Oak Casino Resort Hotel on August 17–the same day the Rim Fire started. Some might see that as bad luck, but I can say that these two are so hot for each other that they set the forest on fire! Cheyenne thought they had everything planned together, but Nikki was sneaky. She swapped the simple dress Cheyenne thought she was going to wear with a full, gorgeous beaded tulle bridal gown. And she also surprised him with a lit monogram and a dance on the clouds provided by Ryan from Sound Extreme. Mountain Laurel Florist provided the beautiful bouquets and arch for the ceremony, and Mirror Mirror Salon and Boutique did hair and make-up for Nikki and her bridal party. Nikki specifically requested some photos from the Black Oak Hotel shoot I did earlier this summer, so we recreated some of those just for her. This time I was able to sample the food, and the hotel did not disappoint! The prime rib and the chicken were amazing! Cupcake Karma brought an array of delicious cupcakes to eat too.
