A mere three weeks before her wedding, I received an email from Dominique. The venue she had reserved for her day had been mistakenly double booked…and she was on the losing end of things. Any bride would panic in that situation! But a friend graciously offered the use of his house and property for the wedding, so with a few minor tweaks, their rustic style wedding went on as planned. Despite the fact that the wedding took place at the brightest, hottest time of day on the hottest day of the year so far, Dominique was calm and relaxed. There was just enough of a breeze coming across the outside patio-turned dance floor to keep guests dancing the afternoon away.
