When I was contacted about this session in Oakhurst, I was warned by Mom that there would be three little boys in the family photos she was inquiring about. And I can’t blame her. As the mother of three boys, I know that it is much better to give advanced notice than to surprise anyone with the activity I tote along with me. But these boys were as well behaved as they were adorable! There was even a tag-along cousin thrown in to make the total four. That was one seven year old and three–yes, three!–four year olds! It could have been a recipe for disaster, but they were promised ice cream if they performed, and once we established that the catch phrase was “dirty underpants” to spark some smiles things went pretty smoothly. After the formal session was done, the nice shirts came off, and a game of Red Rover began on the lawn. It was so much fun to watch them play and wrestle…probably because it was not my own kids when the crying started!
