Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods Trip | Christine Dibble Photography

Brennen was the only one of my kids who had never been on an airplane. We really had no excuse to fly him anywhere. I kept thinking it would be fun to take him on a trip, but had no idea where. Then he said he had an interest in landscape photography. So I did a little brainstorming and asking in photography groups, and I came up with Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs as a perfect location for scenery and accessibility. So I secretly packed a bag for Brennen, told him I needed help at a senior portrait session, and pulled into the airport instead. He was a little confused at first! We had a fun couple of days touring Colorado Springs in our rented Yaris. It was too cloudy to try any Milky Way photos, but I did play with some landscape images, and I snuck in some portraits of Brennen as well.
