Sonora Photographer | Hurst Ranch Pregnancy Announcement | Christine Dibble Photography
When Kathleen contacted me about photographing a pregnancy announcement, I was so excited! She had just found out that baby number three was on the way, and she wanted to surprise her husband with the news during a family portrait session. That meant I was the only other person who knew the big news besides her! We scheduled it just a few days out so she didn’t have to keep quiet any longer than she had to. Kathleen made t-shirts for her boys and the baby with numbers, and she made one for Dad with Dad3 on it. We met at Hurst Ranch and pretended it was just another family shoot. Halfway through, she announced that they would be doing an outfit change, and she passed out the shirts. Both of us were stunned when he said he knew that was going to happen! But he was still very excited about the news, and it was the cutest thing to see him squat down and explain what all the excitement was about to the older brothers. Andrea Brittingham - That is so cool that he found out during the shoot and you were able to capture his excitement! And I love that the boys were excited too! The photo of the oldest scolding the soon to be middle killed me. Ahhh, to be old and in charge. 😉
