I recently made the trek across the river for these Angels Camp family portraits. We met at Starbucks so I could follow them to the private property we were going to use. On the way in, as we passed a grove of olive trees, I was thinking that they looked like the perfect spot for a family portrait session. I was thrilled when they pulled into that driveway! But the olive trees were only a small part of the beautiful property! There was a “pond” that was more lake, perfect shade trees, and hints of fall color. The overcast day was not full of the golden sunshine I usually look for, but the colors in the trees in the background made the scene glow like the sun would have. We finished the session with some shots on the dock so the youngest could strip off his itchy shirt and get comfortable. And with all the wrestling going on, I was very impressed that no one fell in!
