Sonora Wedding Photographer | Indigeny Reserve Wedding | Christine Dibble Photography

Indigeny Reserve is an amazing place located here in Sonora. They make hard apple cider and apple brandy, and they have the most beautiful grounds, gift shop and tasting room. It is a stunning backdrop for a wedding, but there have been some issues with the permit process that have stalled Indigeny from becoming an active wedding venue. But family is allowed to use it, so I was thrilled when I was asked to photograph an Indigeny Reserve wedding last fall! Lisa and Rob (who were lucky enough to have some horses photobomb their engagement session last summer!) brought their family and friends up from the Bay Area for the weekend. Everyone stayed at the Black Oak Casino Resort hotel, and shuttle busses ran guests out to Indigeny for the ceremony and back to the hotel after the reception. Lisa and all her girls had hair and make up done at Beau Rivage Salon in downtown Sonora before heading out to Indigeny to dress in the large empty house on the property. The ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the covered bridge just during the golden hour. Then guests moved over to the picnic area to dine on amazing food provided by Lunch Lady Catering. After dinner and cake, everyone danced on the outdoor patio under strings of lights. Rob is in the fire academy and Lisa is a nursing student. She had clinicals the day before, ran home to grab all the flowers, then drove hours to Sonora to get started on bouquets and decorations after the rehearsal dinner. She pulled it all together beautifully, so that qualifies her as Superwoman!  (And this Indigeny wedding was featured in Gold Country Weddings Magazine here!)
