My son Brennen was a bit nervous to go away to sixth grade camp, a little unsure of who would be in charge of him. We kept telling him he would have a great time, but he was pretty sure he would be miserable. But like we figured, he came home raving about the great time he had. And the thing he raved most about? His counselor Sam. He absolutely loved Sam! And I can see why. When I met Sam for his senior portrait session, it was very early in the morning and the first real cold day we had had yet. But Sam was easy going, talkative and up for anything. I could see immediately how Brennen saw him as approachable. And I think he has some of the same spirit of adventure that Brennen has. Sam’s senior project is taking him all the way to India with missionary work in just a few weeks. That will be the trip of a lifetime, and I know he will learn more from that than any other school project. Here’s to a fabulous senior year, Sam!
