Gordon showed up for his senior portrait session with not one, but two fedoras. That right there told me he has great character! And he really does. He laughed and talked the whole time about things he enjoys doing as we climbed all over rocks down in the river and then climbed the banks back up to the bridge. It wasn’t until the end when he made a joke referencing the old TV show “Friends,” and that was too bad…I am a real “Friends” fan, and we could have traded a lot of talk about that show! But liking a show that was on before he was even born just proved again that he has great character…and Gordon definitely does not smile like Chandler!   As a side note, we took these photos just a few days after the Rim Fire started, and the air was already reddish and orange-hazy, and just a couple of days later, this area was blocked off due to the advancing fire.  I don’t think the fire reached this location, but for a while we were wondering if these might be the last photos I would take there!
