Sonora, CA Wedding Photographer | Julie Paisley Bridal Shoot | Christine Dibble Photography
Last weekend I had the opportunity to attend a Julie Paisley Photography Workshop in Rocklin, CA. It was so amazing! I have never attended a workshop like that before, and I was not really sure what to expect. But I have admired Julie’s work for a while, and when I saw she would be close to home, I figured I did not want to pass on the chance. I knew she would be covering business tips–which was what I was really interested in–and that we would get to do some shooting, but I did not expect to be immediately welcomed into a tight-knit group of new friends. Julie greets everyone with a big hug, and she really becomes one of the group herself instead of standing apart as the teacher. I learned exactly what I hoped to, and I came home with lots of ideas and a solid plan to put them into action.
And then there were the shoots. Over the two days we were there, she planned four shoots, three for us to participate in, and one to watch her work her magic. The models and the locations we worked in were beautiful. I only have one complaint…that the workshop had to end!
I have so many shots from the weekend, that I will have to break them into three blog posts. This one features Lindsey, our gorgeous bride. Jessica Palmer of Polish and Pout styled Lindsey’s hair and make-up, and the dress, “Bernadette” by Maggie Sottero was provided by The Bridal Box. Lindsey knew exactly how to work the cameras too!
Ruby - Breath taking!
Sid - Wow! These are beautiful!
