Little Lady

This little lady is one of my favorites to photograph!  She is always happy, and she is so stinkin’ adorable!  I found a tiny set of feathered wings, and I knew immediately who had to wear them.  The I dug out some of the dresses that my grandfather and his sisters wore when they were babies–more than 90 years ago!  They were all a perfect fit.  My little model was sound asleep when she arrived, but she woke up happy, and she posed like a pro.  (Well, she is a pro since she has been posing for me all her life!)  She did try to sneak a pout in there once, but it just made for a cute photo, so I am not entirely sure she wasn’t playing it up just for the camera.  A few years down the road, when she is into the full teenage attitude, her parents can look back at this time and remember what an angel she was!
