This kid turned eight last week.  Eight!  And he had the bad luck of having a dentist appointment on his birthday and having a baby tooth pulled to make room for bigger teeth.  So he was not happy at all about smiling for pictures.  Since I was still on one crutch, making it a big ordeal was not something I was up for either.  So we settled for a truck right by the dentist’s office.
